GRANT AWARDED - Lancaster & District Homeless Action Service
The 3R Foundation recently awarded £519 to Lancaster & District Homeless Action Service for a Fridge and 2x Metal Storage Cupboards.
LDHAS provides both daily essentials such as food, hygiene products, clothing, showers etc. and long-term casework, support, and advocacy for the homeless and vulnerably-housed of the Lancaster District.
LDHAS provides both daily essentials such as food, hygiene products, clothing, showers etc. and long-term casework, support, and advocacy for the homeless and vulnerably-housed of the Lancaster District.
Their primary aims are to support homeless people into accommodation and help maintain tenancies, in addition to providing mental health and substance abuse support to improve long-term quality of life for clients.
The approached us for a grant to be able to purchase essential kitchen and storage equipment. This included a fridge to keep food fresh for daily breakfasts and lunches, as well as two lockable storage cabinets to securely store important items and supplies.
