GRANT AWARDED - Dignity in Dementia

The 3R Foundation recently awarded £950 to Dignity In Dementia for the production of a new website www.dignityindementia.org.
Dignity in Dementia CIC, established in 2024 in Silverdale, is a not-for-profit organisation supporting individuals with dementia and their family carers.
It offers dementia awareness courses to help carers connect with their loved ones and a Behaviour Support Service, available in Silverdale, Carnforth, and South Cumbria.
The organisation also runs free social activities, including walking, table tennis, poetry, singing, woodland fun, and monthly ceramics sessions, primarily in Silverdale and Arnside. While services are free, a £1 donation per person is requested for refreshments during group sessions.

They approached us at the 3R Foundation as they wanted to update their website which had been done free of charge over a decade ago. They wanted it to be more accessible so that they can update it themselves. They also want to improve the way that people can make donations on the site and purchase their Dignity in Dementia guides.
