GRANT AWARDED - CARNFORTH CRICKET CLUB

The 3R Foundation has recently awarded a grant of £1,500 to Carnforth Cricket Club towards the purchase of new vitally needed cricket practice nets which they were raising funds for via a Crowdfunding Campaign.
On the final day of the campaign the club were just short of their £60k target, so the 3R board of Trustee's and 3R Grant Commitee setup extraordinary meetings and voted to increase the usual maximum grant to push the campaign over the line and reach the target. Without this the Crowdfunding campaign would have been cancelled and wouldn't have been allowed to go ahead. Photos show 3R Shop Manager Sue Calland and 3R Trustee and Treasurer Joe Ashton presenting the 'cheque'!
