The 3R Foundation has awarded £500 to Capernwray Netball Club. This was used towards the purchase of team shirts for their 3x netball teams. Capernwray Netball club trains in the summer at Capernwray Hall netball court, then during the winter they play in the Sportsreach League held at Ripley High School and when the league finishes they play in a knock out cup From March to April, then in a tournament day during the Summer.

Capernwray is a very active club within the Sportreach netball league, running 3 teams, their youngest player is 14 and oldest is 60+.

They have been running for over 15 years, winning their division fairly regularly. They also hold a Guinness world record for the amount of goals scored in 24 hours, which they achieved during a fundraising event for one of their players during a battle with cancer.

They recently increased from 2 teams to 3 teams; Stingwrays, Whipwrays and Mantawrays, so urgently needed new tops which the 3R Foundation was delighted to be able to help with.
